It had not been something Amithi had expected. Not in a million years.
A man she loved, and who loved her back had (of all things!) decided he wanted to marry her and be her husband. Despite all of the reasons he shouldn't have. But here she was, in a nice little cottage she had bought for them and furnished with the money from her military days. She was baking and cooking in the kitchen!
