The only thing that the sea witch hadn't thought to tell her was that by human standards, the young woman was gloriously naked- Merpeople had no need for clothes after all, there was nothing shameful about being bare -but she was far too happy to notice a person coming onto the beach, it was only when she heard a shuffling of rock behind her that she glanced over her shoulder.
