Botan took a bite of her sandwich before peering out of the corner of her eye at the nearby table. The food at this little cafe was great, but the scenery was even better. She wasn't strictly human; still, she fell into human habits. So when an attractive guy walked in and sat at the table, she couldn't help but stare.
At least she was attempting to be discreet. Sure, she could have gone up and talked to him. It was just easier this way, though. Like so many other people, she slipped into harmless fantasy. What was he like, she wondered. She tried to guess his name purely based on looks. What kind of person was he? You could never really tell just from looks and clothing alone. It was all a fun game. She didn't even think about what kind of lover he would be.

Pulling herself out from her daydreams, the chipper grim reaper started to eat her fries. It was then that she noticed something. There was no ketchup on her table. This was only a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless. You couldn't eat fries with ketchup. She began to look at the tables beside her. No ketchup there, either. In fact, the only place she could see the distinctive red bottle was on the table where he was sitting. That was just her luck. She glanced down at the plate. Maybe she could eat her fries by themselves.
No. No, there was no reason for her to be this shy. Going over there didn't mean she had to flirt with him or anything. She could just ask for the bottle and go on about her business. Yes, that was what she would do. She stood up and walked over to the table, then stood there politely beside his chair.
She smiled, brushing some hair behind her ear.
"You know, I wouldn't mind you being on top of me."
Wait, what? That wasn't what she had meant to say! It wasn't even close to "can I borrow the ketchup." The color drained from her face.
"I-I didn't mean to say that. What I meant to say is I'd like you inside of me." What was going on here?
