He's in a hellish state. Rolo can't move, but it's not because he doesn't want to. He's tied up, and his whole body is weak. He can hardly keep conscious, both from the searing pain and from the blood loss he's endured, from wounds and being fucked raw and way too hard. His chest and hips have claw-marks in them, and it looks like he had been in a ( Read more... )

In one of her rare bouts of exploration this wasn't exactly what Rin was expecting to see. She was still easily embarrassed at seeing someone nude, but she felt it necessary to try and work past that. One would assume that someone wouldn't want to be left alone while restrained and injured, right? But this was the Hotel...

She wasn't sure if her interference would be appreciated but there's only one way to find out. Rin's fingers knocked lightly against the door frame, voice wavering with uncertainty and worry while she kept her gaze from looking straight at him. "Excuse me, are you in need of help?"

Rolo leaned his head over, blinking in his fuzzy state of confusion. Someone was at the door, but it wasn't Gunji. She had asked him something but it didn't register right away. He was tired, body exhausted, and his head was just about blank at the point. He figured it was the blood loss.

He didn't know what to say or do around the stranger. He couldn't do anything, and she was trying not to look at him from what he could make out. He tried sitting up more, but it didn't happen. He could speak, although his voice was hoarse. It was painful, but it was something. Rolo bit back his stubbornness and irritation at himself for needing help from someone who looked weaker than him. But it'd be something.

"Help," he said hoarsely. He tried clearing his throat as his voice died at the end of the mono-syllabic word.

That was all she needed to hear. The girl fished a door stopper out of her dress pocket and put it in place so they wouldn't get locked in. Much as she'd rather close the door for some sense of privacy or security she didn't want it to lock on them. Next Rin headed for the closet, pulling as many usable linens as she could into her arms.

Once she was standing beside the bed she dropped them all on the floor. Save for the bottom blanket, which she draped over him. Carefully she took one of his hands into hers. "My name's Rin. I'm no doctor, but I'll do what I can, ok?"

He watches her carefully, still suspicious although she looks harmless. He didn't know if that all could change on him. Rolo didn't pull away his hand from hers, nodding his head slowly to what she said, chain rattling when he did.

He should have thought himself thankful that it was someone benevolent who saw him, rather than someone like Gunji. He didn't want to say he was thankful, though. He was too prideful for that. He'd appreciate Rin's kindness mentally.

She wouldn't have faulted him for being wary around her. It was the same way she had been for a while now, allowing only a small amount of trust towards a few. He didn't have to trust her completely. Just enough to let her help.

Rin gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. Thinking it might help him feel more at ease she continues to tell the boy what she's about to do. "This is coming off next," she stated, reaching to undo the collar at his throat. With it unbuckled she tossed it (and the chain) away from the bed. "I'm going to get some water. I'll be right back, ok?" She didn't want him to think she was leaving.

Rolo flinched when she reached her hands out to undo the collar. He's happy it's gone, though, and he can finally move more freely, if his body would allow him to. He's still rather paralyzed, with or without the collar. He moved his free hand to rub at his throat, signs of prior struggle (mainly in his sleep) etched in his skin.

"Hurry," he pleads. He actually pleads, scared he'll be left alone, numb and unable to move like an invalid. He vows to kill the girl if she doesn't return. He keeps an eye on the door, paranoia settling in once she does make her departure.

She does move as fast as she can, given that carrying a decent sized bucket of warm water was difficult enough for the tiny girl without the extra effort of trying not to lose a drop. But she'll ignore the sore arms and hands for now. If it had been her there, instead of him, Rin knew she'd be scared too. Part of her was afraid right now- that whatever or whoever did this to him would return. Rin shook her head hoping it'd dispel such worries. Finally she made it back.

Leaving the bucket next to the pile of cloth, she pulled a chair up next to the bed and took a moment to rest. Rin grasped his hand again, trying to speak calmly. "Still with me?"

He nodded when she asked her question, hardly able to do so. Truthfully, he wanted to just pass out and the girl get on with whatever she was going to do. Doing that would be ridiculously foolish. He wouldn't allow himself to be so weak and vulnerable. Staying awake was at least something he could try to control. He glanced over at her, still rather confused she's doing such a kind act. He decided against asking her. He didn't have to know her reasons, she was just doing it. An interrogation wasn't necessary.

"Good," she said with a nod. "This way if you start feeling worse you can tell me." And now for the part that probably wasn't going to be pleasant for either of them. She rolled up her sleeves, took up a washcloth from the pile and got it wet. "I'm going to try and get your injuries cleaned up. It's probably going to hurt a little, so um, sorry in advance I guess." With that she went to gently pat at the highest of the cuts on his chest.

He winced at the gentle pat to the cuts on his chest. No matter how gentle she was going to be with cleaning his injuries, he knew it would still hurt. He bit on his lower lip to avoid any other noises of discomfort. He could handle that level of pain. He let her clean them, knowing it would be better that they didn't get infected. He didn't need that, not after what he went through.

Rin felt terrible, to be adding pain on top of what he'd already experienced. She supposed it fell under the necessary evil category and kept going. She tried to keep a good balance between how long she was taking and how thorough she could be. In the meantime Rin started to hum, hoping it'd help distract them both a little.

Eventually the rag was dropped in the bucket for good. She then proceeded to ripping up extra sheets. "Once you're wrapped up I'll be done. Then I can stay or go, it's up to you."

He'd cleaned wounds before, had known how much the pain was. Experiencing any pain after that only made him remember what had caused it, the feel of metal digging into his flesh. He grit his teeth and handled it as well as he could. Her humming did help. He focused on the way it sounded rather than the pain.

Rolo didn't particularly want the girl to stay. She'd be ripped to shreds if found out by the person who would more than likely be returning sometime soon. She looked too weak to fight off the man and wouldn't be able to help him anymore than she was currently. She wasn't of anymore use. He cleared his throat, straining. "You can go afterwards."

A nod, continuing her work until she felt like she'd have enough. It didn't sit quite right with her to leave him... but if that's what he wanted she was certainly going to respect that. Truth is practically anybody else in the Hotel could win out over Rin. Maybe he had her best interest in mind.

She paused. Rin was wondering how it'd be best to get him bandaged. "Can you sit up, or should we try some other way?"

Rolo took a deep breath. It hurt insanely to move, but how else would he get bandaged? He did his best to firstly sit up himself, but the strength it took exhausted him, let alone the pain practically blinded him. He couldn't use his lower body to help him at all, and it killed him. He looked over to Rin.

"Help," he said, not a twinge of pleading in his voice. It wasn't exactly a command, either. It was just a word that hung in the air.

She slipped from the chair to sit behind him on the bed. As gently as she could, hands against each shoulder, she raised him up to where he lean against her for support. This way he wouldn't have to strain as much and she could still do her last task.

Once she'd given him a moment to adjust Rin picked up the first strip and began to bandage him. She also started humming again. The girl had a lot of questions, but with the way his voice was she didn't want to ask them. If she ever found him again, maybe, but she'd spare him for now.

Admittedly, it was a lot easier with her assistance. While it pained him to move his body, he was able to get in a sitting position, adjusting and taking the time to not hurt himself more than what was necessary.

Rolo focused on her humming once more. It reminded him of the melody that usually calmed him down, the one from his locket that had fallen out, most likely lingering in the hallway unless someone had taken it from him. The thought of it being permanently gone made him even more set on his revenge against the more powerful male. He'd definitely find a way to get rid of him.

He narrowed his eyes in thought, staring downward, spacing out.
