Dom guys, eh?~ (first time posting here, hope I do well!) fallen_stage July 24 2010, 06:11:13 UTC
How lucky; a prisoner.

Kuja walked down the dark stone corridor to meet his newest guest; he had so few, after all, so he would make sure they were properly cared for. Fortunately the desert climate of his home prevented damp from claiming these stone walls - why, compared to the blazing climate outside, the cool depth were positively a relief!

Smiling at his jovial musings, Kuja stopped in front of the wooden door. Already he could hear the man's desperate yell. Well, it wouldn't do to keep his guest waiting. Kuja pushed open the door, walking into the cell to look down at his guest.

"I am your host. How are you enjoying your accommodations? I trust you find them satisfactory."

Hadn't he seen this man before? Cecil's slim eyebrows furrowed as he took in sight of Kuja. "No," he said simply. "I've not enjoyed these conditions; they're very uncomfortable, as you can see." With a squirm, he struggled in his chains, his soft silver hair mussing around his face.

He didn't quite know why--or how he had ended up in the dark dungeon, in the first place. As he stopped struggling to breathe, he took one more glance around, before focusing on his captor. "May I inquire to your name, or the reason I have been brought here? I'm supposed to be with my friends!"

Kuja smiled more; his guest was so very polite, after all. What a pleasant surprise! Under the circumstances, Kuja expected more vitriol and violence. Surely that deserved an introduction, at the very least. Kuja bowed politely, although the amused smile remained in place.

"Why, certainly. You may call me Kuja. As for that... you should be more worried about yourself. After all, you are deep in the belly of my home, under tons of rock and sand, with nothing but desert and wild beasts for miles."

Cecil was not without manners. Kuja--Kuja, it rung in his head like a bell, but no squinting or shaking of his head would make it connect. "Both my light and darkness makes me strong, as soon as you release me, I will be able to take my leave easily."

If he allowed him.

A moment passed, before his head tilted to the side, and, with uncertainty, he spoke. "You... will release me, will you not?"

Oh, now he was so confused... poor thing. Sadly Kuja couldn't help his guest with that. But he was rather curious about the mentioned strengths... among other things in his pretty little guest.

"Release you..? Whyever should I do that? I find you sneaking around in my home, rummaging through my belongings, and you won't even return the courtesy of an introduction."

Frankly, Kuja doubted the man could even scratch him, but if the script held true, that scene will never cross the stage.

His pale ears tinged a light red. "Ah--yes. I apologize; I'm in a bit of a hurry. My name is Cecil Harvey, Kuja." That had been embarrassing to realize, but he had been rash; that wouldn't happen again. Perhaps he should try the slower route.

"Forgive me for what I've done, I truly meant no harm."

Ohhh yes. Can't compare to Kuja's Hypnoass, though [bias] fallen_stage July 24 2010, 07:45:47 UTC
Kuja stepped forward until he was looking down on this accommodating Cecil. Was he a fool, to say such things..? He lightly gripped Cecil by the chin, forcing his face up.

"My dear man, it isn't that simple I'm afraid. Like I said, my home is very out of the way; it's impossible to stumble upon. So what were you doing here, hm?"

"I'm afraid I don't have any clue to that," he admitted, bright blue eyes earnest and honest. "The last thing I remember is waking up in this cell, and where I was last--" he shook his head, trying to get out of Kuja's grip. "I was home, on the sandy beaches."

Kuja only tightened his grip, long painted nails grazing the skin of his throat in warning.

"Oh, you probably dragged in some sand, all right. That's the only way in here, after all. But now, what to do with you? Perhaps I could keep you here for trespassing - "

Suddenly he had an idea. Perhaps it was the warmer air in this room, or perhaps he had spent too much time here with no company but those soulless dolls, but...

"Or I could move you upstairs to a grander suit. Would you like that?~"

Cecil's head stopped moving, while a deep frown creased his pale face. Upstairs? While it was away from the dust and cold of stone and hay, he was more than a little apprehensive of moving with Kuja. He distinctly reminded him of a coin; heads or tails, a good side and a bad side.

After a moment of thought, "Yes. I would, thank you."

If Kuja was a coin, then there was a false side: underneath there were two identical sides. He looked down on Cecil, but released the pretty man's face.

"Ah, but how can I trust you not to roam off? You think you could escape this environment unscathed..."

Kuja smirked, raising a foot.

"So show me your obedience: kiss my boot. It's quite clean, don't worry~"

"Pardon?"

Cecil's eyebrows raised; he was taken aback by that comment. He wasn't about to kiss his boots, he had his honor and he had his pride. The captain shook his head firmly. "I have to decline."

At first Kuja only tilted his head, like he was puzzling a minor puzzle. Then he brought his foot against Cecil's chest, pushing him against the stone wall.

"Is that so? What a shame... Then you shall remain here, I'm afraid. I'll check in on you of course, every, oh, let's say twenty years or so."

"Twenty years?!" He was quick to shout, straining against his bonds, pinned against the wall as he was. Cecil was more than aware that Kuja could easily do it, and looked away from him as he thought, a quiet groan of defeat echoing from his throat.

When he looked back and locked eyes with Kuja's, his resolve for his journey shone through, and he hesitantly pressed his lips to the boot against his chest. His pride would have to suffer for his friends.

Now that was more like it~ Kuja looked on in delight, a look of almost innocent joy on his beautiful face.

"That's what I thought~"

Kuja stepped back and to the side, removing a key from the lining of his stocking and unlocking the manacles from the wall, but not from each other. Walking out the door, Kuja looked behind him.

"Follow me, if you please."

Cecil stumbled slightly as he straightened, back straight and proper, like a real knight. He looked over at Kuja and carefully stepped after him, refusing to look at the floor or away. He wasn't ashamed; he would find his way out of this. He had fought his way out of the holds of Chaos and another world. What was a castle, or a home?
