In a room; it might be your room, your neighbour's room, no room in particular, there is a strange sight to see. Indeed, if you look through the doorway, glance at the table directly opposite... you will find yourself looking at a box. And in that box, the lid wide open for the whole world to see? There is a pinecone.
And you want that pinecone so badly it hurts. Thing is, if you try to reach for it, or get too close... the box suddenly just isn't there anymore. Turn around, and you'll notice it's now somewhere else, over the opposite side of the room from where you are, on the bed or on a cabinet. Darndest thing, that. There is some chance of hope, though. The box knows how much you want this pinecone, knows how desperate you are to own it for yourself... and it's offering you a chance to have it.
'If you want this pinecone,' speaks the otherwordly voice inside your head. Yes... yes? If, what? 'If you want this pinecone... you'll have to service the Xoan Ambassador in whatever way I see fit.'
Xoan Ambassador? Over in the corner of the room, sitting quite stoically, is one Xoan Ambassador. Quite tall, pale, ears elfen and lithe and long hair a faint grey-blue.
And if you really want that pinecone, that's the one you'll be courting tonight.
Not into elves? Just not up for a fling with a stranger who doesn't seem about to say anything anytime soon? Too fucking bad. You want this pinecone, you'll do as you're told.
