Sort of re-intro / Event / Aphro
Three women stood in lonely hallway of the hotel, a blonde, a brunette, and one with blue hair. Two looked younger, thinner, and more ragged. The other one, the one with blue hair, handed over a brown paper bag to the blonde.
"Now, just try to keep out of trouble," Botan said, eying the two. "I heard some girls have been getting picked up."
The two nodded. Botan sighed.
"I've got to go. I took some of the cut to buy that for you. Maybe if I can find one more John tonight, I can cover it." She turned, waving at the girls.
As she walked down the halls, looking for potential buyers, she thought. Those girls were so fresh. They knew nothing about working a place like this. The way they dressed, the way they acted. Beginners' mistakes. She had found out quick that dressing like a hooker often worked against them. Leopard skin skirts, midriff shirts, and too much makeup where the first things the cops looked for. Also, that appealed to a very small fraction of the potential clients. Botan found it more advantageous to dress in plain clothes. Jeans and a nice fitting t-shirt did just as well. She also tried to take care of herself.
It could be, though, that the other girls' pimp made them dress like that. It wasn't likely, but she'd heard of it before. Her pimp was a fairly reasonable man who cared little what she did as long as she came up with the money.
Her eyes fell on someone who might be a customer. All alone. That was a good sign.
"You look like you could use some company," she said, smiling her best smile. She walked up to the person.
