I have realized the error of my ways!
And found conceptart.org
Holy crap, if you're an artist, I absolutely recommend that to you. Go to the forums and check out the stuff. It's helpful and totally inspired me to want to draw and practice and get better. I wish I found this place sooner! It doesn't really do that whole fandom popularity deal, which is wonderful in itself.
Anyways, I'm going to lay off all the Demyx for a while. Just for a bit to get a new feel on things and do stuff that I don't normally do like draw some girls and animals . And maybe I'll actually be worthy enough to go on conceptart.org to ask for some crits with art that's not just totally anime styled! Maybe. Oohh ♥
Yeah I've been going through a whole 'I suck @ art and I should stop while I'm ahead' deal, and blah. My expectations are so very bloody high. But I guess if that's what gets me to realize that I'm drawing the same old shit over again, then hey! It's not totally useless.
And hell yeah I'm getting a debit card! FINALLY.
*learn to use contrast better
*draw ANIMALS
*and women
*and men
*Make backrounds!
*Start reffing from photographs of bg's
*Practice anatomy and body perspective
*Do realism fo serious
*try to draw things from rl and not from totally photographs
*DRAW ON PENCIL MORE
*stop being such a lazy n00b!
*spend at least 2 hours attempting to draw daily if possible
School is technically in.... 5 hours. Shit. D:
