The whole world has gone crazy
Someone please tell me, when the hell did we invent a time machine and go back to the fucking 80s? All the clothing stores are just full of neon clothes, brightly colored sneakers, and huge cheap sunglasses. Who wants to walk around looking like a highlighter barfed all over them? Fashion wise, the 80s were a horrible, horrible time- I'm glad I wasn't alive for most of the decade. It was like someone gave a brain damaged monkey LSD and put them in charge of the hair and clothes department. The best we can do is look back and laugh at ourselves: at the side pony tails, the hot pink pedal pushers, the huge T-shirts with the slide clip, the teased hair, the leg warmers... The 1980s brought us some wonderful things- Nintendo, techno music... but fashion was not one of them. Hmm...and we wonder why retail isn't doing so hot right now... Could it be because no one wants to go back to this?
