I was about to head off to sleep when I stopped abruptly and thought: “On one of the rare days where my mood was overall good, I decide to ignore my blogs go to sleep.” So yeah…no, that doesn’t work. I must post my happiness.
Today was a good day. It started off hilarious in 1st period, as we continued to embrace a highly educational history film about Germanic Catherine’s success to the throne in Russia, kinkiness included. I cannot explain how affective simple words seem to be, and the movie is very…sexual in different ways. However, it is not stupid sexual. It is realistic and essential to the life of our historic studies. I especially like this line, after the surgery performed on Peter, the Grand Duke of Russia (Prince). It involved his…inability to produce babies, so you know where the surgery was performed. But anyways, the surgeon says to two soldiers nearby: “Don’t you soldiers play a game where you measure your weapons on tables?” Oh yes…
After history, I made my way to math, slight dread tensing within me at the thought of my test score from yesterday. I had felt mostly confident about it, but then again, I loathe math and my teacher. It so happened that she didn’t grade mine yet…so we learned a new lesson and got a whopping huge math assignment I should have done tonight. After math, I watched a movie called “Roxanne” starring Steve Martin, in reflection of the play Cyrano de Bergerac. Which reminds me: I should get the book Farenheight 451 tomorrow to read over winter break.
Then lunch. I did my French homework. It wasn’t hard. Then I went to Chemistry, where we did a slightly boring lab. After that French arrived and, after turning in the homework, we watched Home Alone, or shall I say “Maman, J’ai rever l’avion!” That’s in French, but it technically means “Mom, I missed the plane!” We had to take 100 notes of two French words from movie dialogue. How fun. After that came sixth period, and we had a sub for a while since Manley was off somewhere. So I decided to go check out my math grade on the test, since our teacher said she’d have our test scores done by noon. Chris accompanied me, and we stood by the door, watching through the peep hole (Which was broken, since we could see in with it.) to make sure Mrs. Richardson was done teaching her lesson. I didn’t want to interrupt her because she would make a huge fuss…especially since she hates her sixth period class. They’re freshman…[shrug] But I dislike her so I don’t blame them. Well, I walked in and asked for my test grade, and she smiled and was like: “You know you did well…” I was like: “I did?” Richardson: “Yeeeessss…I think you got an A.” Me: In shock. I got a 95%. First A in the class this year. So far I’ve had one B, all fails (retake for C’s) and now an A. Thank you Lord. My grade should bump up fairly well. Perhaps a B or B+. ( I hope) Me: “Wow. But I’m still getting out of this class next semester.” The kids in the class were laughing…they apparently thought that was funny. Richardson: “Aw, why? You must challenge yourself!” Yeah…by failing a damn class with a not so great teacher. (in my opinion.) One A won’t cut it. There’s this really cute guy in that class too…I see him walking ‘round school a bit…with a cute beanie all the time. Sheesh…freshmen.
Yeah. So that made my day. Then came practice and it was alright. Yoshi actually coached us a bit today. We have a tournament tomorrow…first day out of three. Playing Murrieta I believe. I need to catch up with my role plays. Bad me. But winter break is almost here! W00t! Carman joined xanga! Hahhaa! Visit her! I’m not done. I got done fixing up the basic layout html of my site to be/blog. AND it’s gunna be hosted by the lovely Jess! My online Canadian friend! I’ve known her for like…2 or…even 3 years now. She’s a great role-player. And a great graphics designer. Yayness. I went to the Christmas choir concert tonight at 7 and Emily and my sis came too. They were pretty good. So yes. That was my joyful day.
