What do you/will you write about? whatever thoughts come into my head, books I've read, films I've watched, depression, grief, loneliness, little things that annoy me
What particular qualities do you look for in a friend? Openness, similar interests, values based on solidarity, a bit of weirdness. I seldom meet like-minded people IRL :( I would also love to make friends with other poc!
What would cause you not to add someone as a friend, or to delete them? right-wing politics, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, pro-imperialism
Favourite films or TV shows: I like art film classics, horror, costume dramas, and cult films. A few recent favourites are Three Colours: Blue, Black Girl, Taste of Cherry, The Passion of Joan of Arc, Vagabond, The Banshees of Inisherin, and Mouchette. + I really enjoyed Barbie! As for TV, some faves are Twin Peaks, Black Books, Bojack Horseman, and The Sandman (Neil Gaiman was my hero when I was younger).
Favourite books: Frankenstein is my all time favourite. I also love Bessie Head, Nella Larsen, Emily Dickinson, and Jane Austen. Some recent reads I liked: Corinne, or Italy, The Color Purple [it's so disappointing that Alice Walker has become an antisemite], Swann's Way, The Magic Mountain, and My Dark Vanessa.
