(no subject)
Joe and I have to be out of our house by the 13th..
and I am excited to move to a new place..
but packing and actually moving all your shit sucks.
I have started packing already because I fear it is going to be a long tedious project.
I have packed 7 boxes already, but it still feels like I have done very little. Most of the boxes I have packed are books.. actually just my books. I haven't started to touch Joe's. Bleh.
The new house will be awesome though. It has a fenced in backyard for Olivia and I can make a garden. Backyard sun porch. Front porch. Quiet neighborhood. big house. We will definitely have to do some work inside. Mostly because it is all wood paneling.. So we are going to get some material and lots of starch and we are going to make our own wallpaper that comes off with just water.
Since it is all dark wood paneling, we need to brighten up the house a lot.
Oh, and I forgot..
Shag carpet. We are pulling up the stuff in the living room and dining room. We aren't allowed to pull it up in the bedrooms. There is one bedroom that has red, green, and another color zig zagged shag. Egh. Whoever thought that was a good idea.
We are going to take before and after photos.
I am also excited because there is a 3rd small bedroom that we are changing into our dressing room. Instead of having teeny tiny closests, we (I) will have a whole room for my clothes!
This house should be really interesting!
I just wish this moving thing could get going. We don't even know when we can move in yet! (for sure the 18th.. but that means we will be homeless for 5 days.. Keeping our stuff in a truck and sleeping at Joe's parent's house.)
