i spoke with veronica's teacher about having to argue about her gender in class. she was, of course, unaware of it. so we talked about it pretty thoroughly. she is concerned and is going to watch for it. i'm going to talk to veronica about being able to speak to her teacher about it when it happens so that the teacher can be more aware and deal with the kids. i don't know. she understood and wants to be helpful but she seems so detached from her classroom that i'm not sure she will be able to.
i just have to keep trying to teach v that she is wonderful as she is. i really could not have imagined a better veronica.
