I havent updated in quite some time. Life is getting more and more like life these days. Things are coming around.
I finally moved out of the halfway house. I completed the program. Had 8 months sober the other day, the 19th. Pretty damn cool in my book. Havent even wanted to shoot any heroin. God works in incredible ways.
I got an apartment in Mountain Brook. I love it and I love my room mate and the way my life has turned out. There's wonderful people, sober people in my life and we live. And its just been refreshingly wonderful.
Sometimes I want to save the world.
But I couldnt even save myself.
Sooo... thats the extent of that.
Im working a desk job these days, which is totally uncharacteristic of me. AND Im not dating anyone nor am I looking to. So lots of things have changed.
Im going to buffalo NY the first week of August then to Destin the third week.
I actually took off Saturday night and went to the beach and came back Monday. Its so wonderful to be able to just go when I want to go.
People are strange.
I think Im pretty strange sometimes when I really think about what Im thinking but thats why its not really a very good idea to be up in my head about shit.
I start to think Im crazier than I really am.
Or so I think.
