Is this account a paid account? You can't edit with a free account (unless they've changed it), unless you have an initial post that has gone unresponded to. Then, it's 'locked'.
Adding tags, or creating tags? As a non-mod, you can't create a tag.. but I have no idea as to why you couldn't add an already existent one. :(

Aaah, but all I was looking to edit was an "unresponded to initial post" by Jack, and Methos with his plus account can do that. I still couldn't edit the post of Jack's before someone responded to it, even after sinanju gave Jack comm membership, but I'm guessing the posts he made before he had membership are locked like he'd made them anonymously. I won't know for certain if he still can't do the basic editing Methos can until he makes a fresh post with full membership.
