((OOC: Not entirely sure where this should be, but since Ianto's joined the thread I'm going to put it here.))

Methos watched Harkness get up and dust himself off. He smiled softly at having a better understanding of how Jack's immortality worked. Apparently while Jack might not disintegrate with a third shot he could be dropped with a first the same as a normal human being. Methos let Harkness catch the small smile when he glanced at him, taking in how the zat had worked on him. He wondered what Jack thought of his not being stunned. Methos' smile grew to a grin as Harkness glared at him. He found himself wondering for a moment if it was possible, for all the clear differences, Jack and Duncan MacLeod shared a sense of chivalry he'd never developed.

"Crowding around her when she may need more time to recover, and some Gatorade isn't being as helpful as giving her space to breathe and getting her some Gatorade would be," Methos pointed out as Ron drifted closer to Ami increasing the number of men huddled about the one fallen woman to three. He could only hope that if they were under attack some of them would be focused on their attackers rather than the fallen. before Methos could decided whether it was actually necessary for him to examine Ami himself Ron was shooting their newest arrival with the zat. He watched how the young man took the shot, enjoying how much easier it was watching this time.

"Gatorade?" The single word repeated softly to Hobbes drew Methos' attention back to Ami. She was coming back around. The phalanx of would-be knights in shining armor around her could relax. He wondered if one of them would actually get her the Gatorade or if they'd simply lose interest now that it was clear she had only taken longer than them to recover from the shot.

"According to those more familiar with the effects of a zat that's most likely what you need," he answered Ami without moving from where he stood.

"I may have shot you all" Ron said as he returned the zat to the table, then pulled a bag out from underneath, wherein nestled several types of sugary drink. "But I'm not a sadist."

A little smile is reserved here for Bobby, before Ron hefted a drink towards the first waiting hands. "There's a watery one, for Ami as she comes around, it's better she has that one, since it metabolises better."

Ron moved to Ianto, most newly stunned. Touching the young man''s cheek he proffered a faintly apologetic smile. "You did good. Here" he offered a bottle of orange juice.

Ianto dusted himself off, a bit paler than his usual, and thanked Ron. He sipped at the juice before offering a smile and a quiet, "It wasn't nearly as bad as some tech goes. Certainly beats torture or getting oneself shot with standard weaponry. I've had worse, but that was less than pleasant." he smiles wider, "Some of the things that came through the rift were far worse."

He got himself presentable and slipped into a comfortable silence, taking in how Jack and Dr Pierson were reacting as well as Ami. He did walk closer to the table, albeit a bit shakily- though he'd never admit to it, and was looking over the other weapons, wondering what he'd have to do to get himself one.

As Bobby accepted the generic Gatorade and the closer to water one for Ami he marveled that he was the only person pissed off over being shot with the alien gun. However, now that every nerve in his body wasn't screaming with pain, the soldiers' rationale made sense. "Thanks," he told Boone after taking a swig of Gatorade. "A little warning next time, 'kay?"

Ami stirred, drawing Bobby's attention. "Take it easy, sweetheart." He helped her to a sitting position and offered her the other drink. "There ya go. Drink this. Boone says it'll help."
