[Keller] Exam Three lost_mckay March 20 2009, 00:29:01 UTC
The doctor completed the physical portion of the exam, nodding briefly before she returned to her file notes. Jotting notes into the margins of some things, on the lines for the other, it was quick.

Turning around again, she smiled, "Only one thing left. We're going to need a blood sample. I'll send the nurse back in, and she can take it, and then you're done." Pausing, she inhaled and raised her head, quirking it slightly, "We'll need it for a baseline, just in case." Did she really need to say 'in case of what'? She would anyway. "I can't tell you how many times we've seen... anomalies on returning, and we just need something to show us what would be normal for you." Assuming, of course, it was 'normal'. Still, according to everything she had in front of her, it was all clean.

"If you have any questions or any concerns, please," Here, Jennifer paused, her head ducking, "Feel free to call me. Contact me here, and if I'm not on duty, I'll probably be on call, which means they'll contact me immediately." She smiled, "Even if you need an ear. I know it's probably hard on you." She'd heard some of the history, and it had been logged onto her chart. "Okay?"

[Cassandra] Exam Three sinanju March 20 2009, 16:58:07 UTC
"Alright," Cassandra said. "Thank you. I don't have any questions just now, but if I do I'll be sure to ask you."

Dr. Keller left and a minute later the nurse returned. She filled a couple of small vials quickly and professionally. Cassandra obediently held the cotton ball in the crook of her elbow afterward--at least until the nurse left.

She disposed of the cotton ball, returned her handgun and holster to their usual place inside the waistband of her jeans and pulled on her duster. The weight of her sword was a reminder that there was another immortal in the colony.

(She shouldn't be hard to find,) Cassandra thought. The sooner they met and established their standing with one another, the better. Cassandra would be happy to live in peace and she hoped the other woman would be as well, but you never knew.

Cassandra opened the door of the exam room and walked out. She returned to the lobby and took a seat where she could see everything. Then she settled down to wait for the others to return.
