I've come to this conclusion.

The weather/fate/The Big Man/the world/all their mothers have something against Shakespeare club. It just wasn't enough that you had to snow out one of our performances, but now you have to go around attacking innocent field trips to Folgers?????????????? WHAT'S UP WITH THAT MAN??????? Guh. Well, either way we still got there. Even though it wasn't sanctioned by Wilde Lake....we went anyways. We caravaned with all the parents and went to Folgers. SO SCREW YOU WEATHER!!!!! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS GREATNESS!!!

Folgers was tons of fun. And because the schools were cancelled, our lead's mother wouldn't let her come. As if the rest of the stuff wasn't enough. So I filled in for her and did the best I could while reading out of the script. I'm sure it looked lame but at least I was in costume! And everyone said I did a great job, so whatevs. Everyone kicked some serious ass. It was very exciting. In my biased opinion, we were the best group there. Even though I didn't see the last two...but that makes no difference!!! We still were awesome! We happened to be on a day that had a lot of middle schools. Some were better than others. But the last middle school that went...oh dear. Their excerpt was NO LIE an hour long, which is TWICE the allotted time. And it wasn't....especially....good? There was one little black kid who played a pretty awesome fool, and the poor kid who slipped and fell on his back in the middle of his scene and hit his head so heard they had to stop and see he if he was alright. He kept on going after that which was VERY awesome of him. Anyone who can fall on their head on stage and get back up and keep going is a hero in my book.

But due the overexaggerated inclement weather, most of us left early and didn't get to the the last two schools, which were high schools. Which is disappointing. There was a hot guy who came and talk to us during lunch about how well we did who I wanted to see perform. But alas. It was not to be.

In the end, it was a stressful/frusterating/anxious/nervous/jittery/fantastic/inspirational/lovely day. And I'm infinately thankful for the awesomeness that is our Shakespeare club. I'M SO PROUD OF US!
