should be praying, unless your Nico is secretly a stalker hunting her prey :D

this is a decent fic. I like how you wrote Nicos POV, it's a very realistic reaction, especially given their ages.

As much as I love Nico and Karolina, I'm doing a little dance in my head, called the "IN YOUR FACE!" dance to the tune of "Suck IT, Nico." WHEW! I just had to get that out of my system. It's like karma and she'll have to angst over Karolina. The tables are turned. Wow. This makes me sound like a jerk, but this is me taking out all my unrequited love wangst on Nico. Thus the "In Your Face" Dance.

But then I'm like "Awwww. Nico doesn't even get to cherish the bracelet."

Thanks for the review! And yeah, I think this is fitting setup, and I really enjoyed writing Nico as basically a self-centered teenager, who still legitimately is hurt that she was seemingly not only replaced, but replaced by a newer, improved person.

Also, I must admit, I really wanted to get that bracelet in, and I almost forgot to include it. The scene that kinda solidifies my mindset (and fandom of Nico/Karolina) was the scene were Karolina comes back, and Xavin snatches the bracelet from her and Nico just looks down, like she has no clue what to say anymore. Just came across as such a great scene, with another metaphor build into it.

It kinda urked me that Xavin was like "YOINK" at first, but I guess the bracelet stands for hiding who Karolina really is and since coming back Karolina doesn't need to hide... Nico was holding onto the old K while Xavin is helping Karolina to grow and such...

Very nice look into Nico's thoughts. I have to agree with one of the previous comments, it is nice to see Nico angsting after Karolina for a while... :)I am looking forward to reading your next K/N fic...

I didn't like it. Parts of it I like, and it's well characterized, but this feels like an alternate reality fic to me. I don't see the Nico I've been reading about act in this way.

First, just wanted to thank everyone for their reviews, I can take with the good with the bad, and I can see where your coming from with this. For the record, I should have probably explained this was supposed to take place in between v 2 21 and 22, with Victor somewhat omited. If I may ask, does what feels off is Nico being so "angsty", or it being over Karolina?
