"I'm here!" Eddie annoucned as soon as he had located the lower area of the newly-done Leaky. "Cedric? Is there anyone else here?"

He took a look around. There didn't seem to be anyone else. But it did look like it would be a bunch of fun, whatever it was that Cedric was planning for him. He really did have the best friend he could have ever asked for.

"Ah, Eddie! Glad you're here! Just one moment," a disembodied voice greeted brightly. After a soft thud and the jingling of some dishware, the top of a head and a pair of grey eyes appeared just over the minibar counter. Next came several pairs of glasses, then Cedric in his entirety. He came around for a proper greeting, extending his hand for a shake, then a hug.

"So how've you been? How's Susan? How's plans? Don't worry, you're a bit early. More will be coming shortly."

"Really?" Eddie ventured, looking around nervously, worrying his lower lip. "Well that's good I suppose. I really didn't know this was early. Oh well." Nodding a bit, he took a seat and faced Cedric. "Plans are... plans. Lists upon lists. On clipboards. Lords, Cedric, there's so much to plan, it's ridiculous. Susan is fine. I'm fine. Lots of excitement, of course. Bit overwhelmed. All good." A small smile showed on his face. Well, that was better. "What's planned for the evening?"

Cedric grinned as he listened, absently flicking his wand over the glasses to clean them. He'd had plenty of practice with that charm. It was scarcely an effort now.

It was the rest he was still working on. Steadily, but surely.

"I can imagine! So has Susan stabilised now? Does she still get mood swings?" For some reason, Angus had suggested that there might be a problem tonight with that. Cedric didn't think Susan would mind Eddie having a party, though. After all, the wedding was a week away. And speaking of Angus... "Well, I have a confession to make. I got some help from a cousin of mine. He knows someone who's an entertainer, and he was brimming with other suggestions. I think we'll be starting off with introductions, then a few gifts for the groom to be." Cedric grinned as he patted a shoulder playfully.
