Sirius checked to make sure the twins weren't too swamped by the crowd of schoolkids swarming around the store, and was quite glad when they waved him off and told him to have a good lunch. Tracey was meeting him at The Leaky, and he was excited to see her, even though he'd just seen her this morning, and last night. It was sort of illogical how no matter how much time they spent together, Sirius still missed her when they were apart, even if it was only for half a day. He was a little worried about the possiblity of ending up as one of those really annoying couples that fawn all over each other when one of them comes back from the loo, but there were pretty low odds of that, considering they were anything but schmoopy, especially in public.

The Leaky was pretty busy during lunch, from everyone in Diagon Alley, but Sirius didn't have too much trouble finding Tracey. She was sitting in a back corner, as was pretty predictable, looking gorgeous as usual, even though she was just wearing a casual tank top and very little makeup.

"This seat taken, Gorgeous?" he asked as he sidled up to her, "I do hope you're not waiting for some incredibly handsome and rugged boyfriend to show up."

"Actually, I am waiting for someone," Tracey said as she looked up at Sirius. She had to bite her lip to keep from smiling that goofy smile that the sight of him always seemed to bring out. "He's very sexy and probably wouldn't be too happy if I were to flirt with every handsome man that approached me."

Her gaze swept over him before she smirked. "Fortunately, no one else interests me except him so you should be safe," she teased. She winked as she stood up and brushed a quick kiss against his lips. While she loved touching him and kissing him, she wasn't sure she'd be able to stop so it was best to keep it light.

"Hiya, Handsome," she murmured against his mouth before she kissed his nose and sat back down. "How is your day going so far?"

Sirius smiled when she pulled back from the kiss. "What he doesn't kow can't hurt him," he said with a cheeky wink. He slid into the booth next to Tracey, close enough that their knees touched because it was impossible to be this close and not touch her at all.

"It's been busy. August seems to be gearing up to be a busy month all over, what with all the kids going back to Hogwarts come September first. I've started working on disguising the catalog as well. It's not much different from the packaging charms, but it'll take a bit of time because there's more components that need simultaneous transfiguration."

He ordered a beer for himself and nudged a little bit closer to Tracey unconsciously. "How about you?"

It always fascinated her to listen to him talk about his job. She remembered when they first met. He'd been unemployed and had no idea what to do with his life. Now, he had found something that made him happy and that he was so excited about. If possible, it made him even more appealing.

"I'm not surprised that August is a busy time. I hope the little beasts buy lots of things to terrorize the staff at Hogwarts," she told him with a mischievous smile. "It keeps them on their toes."

She reached up and brushed her fingers through his hair, not even bothering to think of an excuse as to why she had to touch him. "My day has been all right. The dogs were very hyper today, which made our walk somewhat frustrating, but I managed to keep them all under control. Other than that, I've been pretty lazy."

"Oh, believe me, they do," Sirius said with a smirk, leaning back in the padded booth. His beer appeared in front of him and he took a sip. "I'm sure as hell glad that Remus doesn't teach anymore, because he'd probably hate me for this if he was still at Hogwarts."

He leaned into her touch comfortably, soothed by her soft strokes through his hair. "It's sort of funny how you spend your days with a pack of overactive dogs, and then spend your nights with an old dog like me." he turned his head and kissed her palm, but was interrupted by the waitress coming by to take their orders. Sirius ordered fish and chips, and slipped his hand under the table to rest on her bare knee. "What do you want, love?"

"Hmm...I guess I must just like dogs," she teased before she slapped his shoulder playfully. "And stop calling my lover old. He's only forty and very active."

Tracey smiled as she snuggled closer to him. "I think I'll have the same, actually," she told the waitress before she took a sip of Sirius' beer. She'd ordered juice since it was just mid-day but his beer tasted quite good.

"As for what I want," she said after the woman wandered off with their order, "I'm thinking you naked and tied to our bed this evening, possibly some candles so that I can drip hot wax onto your belly as I ride you until you're screaming my name. That, however, will just have to be a delayed dessert. Tell me more about this transfiguration thing you're working on. You look adorable when you're all excited."

Sirius gave her a mock-affronted look, "Thirty-nine, thank you very much! I've got a whole nine months before I have to deal with the f-word!"

His indignation couldn't last long though, not when she was snuggling against him and being all sweet and sexy. He took another drink as the waitress left, and nearly choked when Tracey began rattling off all sorts of deliciously dirty things. He swallowed and coughed, a bit shocked at how utterly nonchalant she was being.

"You expect me to be coherent after that? You're lucky I'm only on my lunch break, or you'd be the one screaming my name right now." He leaned over and nipped at her earlobe, "But I suppose there's nothing wrong with having something to look forward to for after work."

He sat back and took another drink once he was sure it was safe to do so. "Adorable? I'm not sure anyone's ever called me adorable before. Sexy, most definitely; rugged, perhaps; even badass upon occasion, but adorable? Really?"

"Thirty-nine, forty. It's all basically the same to my twenty-one year old mind," she declared with a soft laugh.

Tracey grinned. "Promises, promises," she teased as she leaned her head against him. "Coherency isn't necessarily required, though it does make things more interesting. Besides, just think how fast the rest of your day will go when you know what's waiting for you at home."

"Confident, aren't you?" She smiled before she replied. "I find you adorable as well as sexy and rugged. You've actually got quite a nice arse so I'd never use the word bad in description of it. Besides, adorable is good. It's one of the many reasons you're so loveable."

Sirius laughed. "You mean how much slower it will go! You have no idea what it's like to work in a shop full of sex toys and have such a hot girlfriend waiting for you at home. It's all i can do not to embarrass myself in front of customers when every time I look at something, I get these images in my head of how I could use it with you."

He smirked impishly. "You don't need confidence when you know you're always right."

Sirius leaned in close, like he was going to kiss her, but he stopped short of her lips and gave her a smouldering look. "My arse is yours, Tracey: any time, anywhere."

"I like you and those images," she told him. "You know I'm willing to try out any product you bring home. After all, it helps your job, right?"

She grinned and nudged him before she laughed and kissed him lightly. "You're not always right but you're cute when you think you are so I won't say anything," she said with a wink.

"Mmm...I like that," she whispered as she turned to face him and kissed him more fully. They were in the back so no one could really see them, though she resisted the urge to do more than kiss. "All mine. You know that my arse is yours, and every other part, so I won't bother to tell you again."

God, lunch was not nearly long enough, and Sirius was already half-hard just from a kiss. The whole pub shrank down to just Tracey's mouth against his, and her hands tangled in his hair, and her tongue curling around his, but they were interrupted a moment later by a rather irritated sounding throat-clearing. Sirius tore himself away from Tracey and grinned at the waitress, who was looking Not Amused. She set down two steaming plates of fish & chips and walked off, rolling her eyes.

Sirius chuckled and poured sme vinegar on his chip before popping one into his mouth. He still got a little thrill from her saying that she was his, even though she'd said it before, because he still couldn't get over it.

"So, this weekend is Harry's twenty-first birthday party, and he's invited me, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me." He tried not to sound too eager, because she seemed a bit aprehensive about meeting his friends, but he really wanted them to meet her because he was so sure that they'd love her as much as he did. Er, like. Er. Sirius bit his lip to avoid saying something that could scare her off, and hoped that she'd say yes.

The waitress lost any chance of a good tip when she rolled her eyes at them. Tracey considered a subtle hex on the woman but decided it wasn't worth it. Instead, she stole one of Sirius' chips and nodded towards her. "Fix mine for me?" she asked before she took a drink. "You get the perfect mixture of vinegar and chip."

When he mentioned the party, she smiled and looked at him. "I'd love to go with you, Sirius," she told him, pleased that he still wanted her to meet Harry. She was a bit nervous at the idea of meeting people, especially Gryffindors, but it was worth it because it mattered to Sirius. "What are we getting him for his birthday? What sort of event is it? I mean, casual or semi-formal?"

She started to eat her lunch and licked her greasy fingers. "This is good. I'm starving," she admitted with a sheepish smile.

Sirius smirked and kissed her cheek as he reached for her platter of chips. "Ooh baby, I love the way you stroke my ego," he quipped as he sprinkled vinegar on the plate of chips. He tried one, and satisfied with his handiwork, passed her lunch back to her.

At her answer, he smiled brightly. "Brilliant! I can't wait for you to meet Harry!" The questions that followed, however, stumped him a bit. "Haven't really given a lot of thought to his present yet, maybe a collection of toys from the store for him and Draco? Either that, or anything that would simultaneously make Harry happy and irritate Draco." Yes, whatever that was would be perfect. Maybe something tacky, but fun. Draco was always rather elitist and prissy about things being classy and fashionable all the time.

"It'll be casual, just a gathering of friends, although since Draco's throwing it, we may want to dress up just a tiny bit."

"Mmm, me too," he murmured as he caught her wrist just as she'd picked up a chip, and directed it to his own mouth. He ate the chip from her hand, and then licked the salt from her fingers, making sure he was very thorough.
