Severus Bloody Snape? Tracey stared at the announcement and grimaced. Magical mishap her arse! That was just punishment, slow and torturous. She had never been particularly fond of her former Head of House and certainly hadn't enjoyed his potions class despite being fairly decent at the subject. An afternoon in his company, especially somewhere that she enjoyed visiting, was just nothing to get excited about. Well, she'd just be polite and friendly while making sure they stayed far too busy to actually converse.

Foruntately, she'd had better luck with her bidding. True, she'd originally bid on the bloke offering the fencing lessons because that sounded like a lot of fun and she'd bid on Sirius...just because, but Padma was pleasant company and a day at the spa was always enjoyable.

She'd originally intended to just drop by to see the auction results on her way home from meeting with a client, however, a drink didn't sound bad. True, she was a bit overdressed for the Leaky but there were other people dressed up so she figured it was ( ... )

Wandering from Parvati's chair at the bar, Romilda walked slowly toward the woman that she knew she recognized. She stopped just behind her, but not too close - though close enough to smell something exotic and very much like sex on the witch - she said quietly, "Care to let a young witch buy you a drink?" and waited.

Tracey glanced behind her and arched a brow as she tried to place a name to the woman. "Romilda, right?" she asked before she nodded at the empty stool beside her. "You can sit, if you'd like, and I'm not one to turn away a free drink."

"Did you participate in that auction thing?" She only looked for her name and didn't pay much attention to anything else. She sat back and hooked her bare leg around the side of the stool as she sipped her drink.

Romilda nodded slightly, acknowledging her name as she sat. She suddenly remember the woman's voice and her face - beautiful full lips, flowing dark hair, and skin that just begs to be touched. Roughly.

"Tracey, if I remember correctly? I met you with Padma and Pansy, here. A night to remember, to be honest. I auctioned up a night on the town, easy enough, and I don't know the witch who won, thinks she works at the Ministry or some other droll past time. What are you drinking?" Romilda crossed her legs, allowing the tan skin to show a bit more than normally would have in the short kimono dress she wore.

"Good memory," she said with a slight smile. "Yes, I remember that night. It was quite...rewarding."

She laughed softly as she recalled Pansy on her knees and pressed against the wall of the ladie's loo. She licked her lips before she took another drink and listened to Romilda describe her offer.

"A night on the town is a good offer. Mine was for a day on the coast with some sailing and possibly surfing, depending on the weather," she told her before she made a face. "I'd prefer a Ministry worker over Professor Snape, who seems to have won me."

"Fortunately, I also made a bid and seem to have won myself Padma Patil and a day at the spa, which is certainly more exciting." She glanced at her glass. "It's just Scotch on the rocks. A bit old-fashioned but it takes the edge of the day off well."

"Care for another then?" Romilda looked up and nodded to Tom for one more of each of their drinks. She had noticed Tracey lick her lips and couldn't help but imagine all the wonderful things that tongue could do. She only allowed herself to indulge for a moment though, and turned a bit more toward the gorgeous witch currently attracting all of her attention.

"So your day had an edge? Of course I'm very curious, but I'll admit, more curious as to what could take the edge off a little more effectively than a drink."

"Sure. I'll get to it eventually," she said with a smile. She stretched and pushed her hair away from her face as she considered Romilda. It was quite obvious that the girl was flirting and, at one time, Tracey wouldn't have hesitated in seducing her for a bit of fun for the night. Tonight, however, she just wasn't sure.

Maybe she'd chat a bit and see what happened.

"It wasn't a particularly bad day," she told her with a shrug. "It was just long, I suppose. I woke early and ran for about an hour then I had my aerobics class and did some shopping before I had to get some work done. It definitely earned me a couple of drinks."

"What brings you here tonight?"

"Well, the auction for the most part." Romilda responded, watching the movement of Tracey's hands and then settling back into her chair a bit more confidently than before. "I'm covering it for my column, in the Prophet. My editor convinced me to write all about it and to finish it with a gossipy little piece about my night out on the town. I don't know how interesting dinner will be, but hopefully I can take a bit of ... fictional liberty with it and make is something the average home-making witch will want to read. And what about you? Just out for a couple of free drinks?" She twirled the ice in her glass with the straw and smiled lightly.

"Oh, that's right. I've seen your column before," she said. "I rarely read the Prophet but I sometimes flip through it when I'm bored."

"You could always take a look at the list and arrange to interview other participants," she suggested as she idly kicked her foot and glanced down to glare at the Shoes Of Pain. When she looked up, she smiled slightly. "It might give the piece a bit of flavor if you had more variety."

"I stopped by to check on the auction and thought a drink or two sounded nice. It's also interesting to see everyone interact, especially with that bloody mishap obviously changing so many of the bids."

"Oh yes, that will certainly be a nice little twist to the story. The mix-up and all. I have to say I'm not terribly disappointed, and the article will keep my editor off my back for probably the next month, so overall I win out well." Romilda noticed her drink getting a bit watery with the ice and discreetly ordered a firewhiskey on the rocks, hoping Parvati wouldn't over hear from her corner of the pub.

Tracey smiled politely and scanned the pub again. "Most people don't seem too upset, though they may not have been participants," she mused as she looked from table to table. When she reached the other end of the bar, her lips curved into a wicked grin when she saw someone very familiar.

She hadn't expected to see Sirius there, but it was a nice surprise. It was then she noticed him speaking to a pretty woman with red hair. She frowned as she realized that she was actually jealous, an emotion she couldn't recall having experience with, and took a healthy drink from her cup.

"Do you enjoy working for the Prophet, Romilda?" she asked as she focsed on her current companion. Her attention wandered back to Sirius occasionally, but she told herself that it was simply because she was curious about the woman.

Romilda had watched Tracey's glances down the bar toward a very attractive man and a pretty redhead who looked familiar. Ahhh... Penny, she remembered. "I know her" she said absentmindedly.

"The Prophet isn't too bad, it pays my bills and allows me to write pretty much anything I want, so it's nice, especially right out of school. What is it that you do?" she asked taking a long cool sip of her firewhiskey. "I suppose I should go say hello at some point, I believe that redhead is the witch who won me tonight." But she didn't move, not willing to say goodnight just yet.

"I'm in customer satisfaction," she said smoothly. "The hours aren't bad and it pays well so I have no complaints."

"Do you also write fiction or do you focus solely on journalism?" She actually was interested, as Romilda seemed like a nice young girl.

"If you'd like, we can ask them to join us. I'm quite familiar with the man," Tracey told her before she glanced at the end of the bar and caught Sirius' attention. She arched a brow and blew him a kiss before she nodded at the empty stool beside her in invitation.

"Well, that sounds fine." Romilda said, trying to be polite. "I suppose I should probably say hello to Penny and then pop home, my mum wanted to meet for brunch in the morning anyway and with the mix-ups with the auction, I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about."

She watched the couple who would soon be joining them and indulged for a quick moment in what it would be like to have both Tracey and her gorgeous wizard friend back at her flat for the evening.
