Lisa returned to the Leaky after spending the after noon with Padma, shopping and gossiping and reliving some of the old days, but now it was time to meet with Chambers. Hopefully, he’d been telling the truth and really did mean that she was forgiven without having to endure a spanking.
This time she claimed two barstools toward the end of the bar and hoped for some privacy. For the first part of the night, anyway.
She ordered a martini and let it sit in front of her until she’d dug through her purse, pulled out her nifty little pink vial (that was decorated with hand drawn flowers and hearts) and poured just a dollop into her drink.
Turning in her barstool, she waited for Chambers. Or someone at least half interesting.
