Night at the film festival
I have a new neighbor, which is pretty sweet. One that doesnt try to kill my dog, which is also pretty sweet. Life is pretty sweet nowadays. No school, no annoying people, life is good. Today I went to the indy media "best of" video recordings. I watched A30 critical mass, in which I saw a man being ripped off of his bike and being beat while on the ground by the police. Then I watched Day X. Now, Day X was probably one of the most disturbing videos I have ever seen. Other than the beheading of Nick Barnes. Its not disturbing as in gross. Its disturbing as in sad. Many of the audience was brought to tears while watching this. I'm done with this. I'm not trying to be badass when I say this but fuck the police. I really cant take anymore stories of 10 month old babies being rushed to the hospital because some pig pepper sprayed them point blank. (true story in Portland). In march a "riot" which was actually a peaceful protest made the cops go wild. They took down a man for holding a sign on the sidewalk and sat on his neck. They pepper sprayed a lady then beat her while she was on the ground for doing nothing. They almost ran over a 13 year old girl for protesting. THEY SHOT A MAN 8 TIMES WITH A FULLY AUTOMATIC RUBBER BULLET GUN WHEN HE WAS ONLY ON THE FENCE. In truth, I hate America. I hate how we can boss everyone around without anyone elses opinions. I hate how we cover up the truth to make more money. I hate how we kill 10s upon 100s of thousands of people just so dont have to pay 1 dollar extra for gas when we are driving home in our SUVs. I suddenly agree with the flag burners. I love how our nation was founded. I love our for fathers. I hate what corporate America has done to this country. It was once the independent country. Now it is smashing out independent countries. Thats enough political commentary, I'm fucking done with this country.
