My plan was to get much work done on my papers over the weekend, but that didn't work out. Happens my boys (Dirk and Simon) where both in town and for the first time in 6 months we actually managed to find a time to go out together. It was so much fun, just like back in the days. Among other places we went to Americanos City, and let me tell you,

So yours definitely sounds like much more fun. ;)
At least I have club football to look forward to again! About time.

weather hates us in Munich too, so cold already *brrrrr*
How you manage watching the games when school is back?

Hey weather, summer's not officially over yet! we still have a few weeks! :(
I'm kind of unlucky in that - I have only two classes, and the second interferes with football. It's from 2 - 3:20, and 20:30/20:45 games are at 2:30/2:45 my time. BL will be fine if Bayern play Saturday or Sunday, but for Friday, CL and Pokal games, my options are either to settle with just watching the second half, or to hope my school's wifi is good enough to get a stream going on my iPod. :(
I'll find a way. It's my first season watching the Bundesliga, so live and learn, I guess~

yeah, where's that 30 degree weather we had just last week??
It kind of sucks, but it'll only be for one season, since I'm looking to go to university in Germany. As of next year, I'll be in the right timezone! :)
ohhh, tweet updates would work great too! thank you so much for the offer~ ♥ I'll definitely take you up on that if my school's wifi cooperates.

man, that sucks. D: for how long has it been that chilly?
we honest to god had the hottest week of the summer, with 30 - 35 degree weather every day…and then on September 1st, it poured, and it's been cold ever since. :\
Yep! It really makes the most sense.
a) It's cheaper! I don't want to pay $5000 a year for tuition, thanks.
b) Europe is probably the best place to study linguistics, French and Italian. c) I can get my dual citizenship sooner, maybe in time for Canada's 2012 election!
d) If I were to study in Canada, I wouldn't be able to visit my family in Germany until I finished, and then some. But if I study in Germany, with all the money I'd save on tuition, I could probably afford to visit Canada at least once during uni.
So I really just need to pick where~

It's been either super hot or rather cold since june. No real summer IMO!
Wow, it does make sense, and it's great if you can do it like that. Imagine you coming to Munich we could go to games together!
Do you have any ideas where you wanna go?

That would be so much fun!! :D
LMU München is one of my top choices, as well as Mainz. But I still have a fair bit of research to do; I've only looked into those two, and who knows what I may be missing at another uni. So we'll see, I'm planning on having my top three by the end of the month, and then I'll call them and start getting stuff figured out.
