After one week with almost no LJ ( how did I survive that?) I am back. I am sorry for not commenting in your entries or writing back on comments, I'll see if I can get to that, but no promises here. You can always link me though, then I promise to get to it right away!
Here are some ramblings about stuff, RL, and of course some shows:
What a busy week!!!! On Monday I was at work and went to the Oktoberfest afterwards. With my Dad and his client, so my Dad could drink and I would drive him home (he drove me crazy on the way home, but never mind) and get some tasty food and stuff. YAY
Then on Tuesday I went to work at the office (from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm) and then went to my other job wo work there (from 7:00pm to 11:30pm). Men I was a wreck after that. Thank god next day was a holiday so I could get some rest. but my office job invited his workers ot the Oktoberfest in the evening, so I went there (in my new shiny dirndl). It was an awesome tent, but as it is their annoying habbit they tried to fit 5 (sometimes big) people one one bench where there was really only room for 4. And because we where sitting in one of the "boxes" there was just no air (no, we don't do air conditions, that would really be contra productive) and it was so hot my silk dirndl clinged to me and it felt like it shrinked on me. I could barely breath and felt like doing an "Elizabeth-Swan" and just faint. So I had to open my dirndl. Yeah, well, once your reputation is gone, who cares anymore, right? But I felt better aftern an hour or so, and the food was really good and the atmosphere too so I went with the flow. It was a good decision, after the music stopped (they have to finnish at 10:30pm) me and a friend went to try some rollercoasters and the like. Men, we had a blast!!! It was really awesome. I was home about 1 am *heeee*
Yesterday was all recovery hehe, needed that because I will work each night this weekend.
So what did I watch? Mostly anything out there, so I'll just give some reviews and impressions of the shows in general.
Bionic Woman:
I dunno, am not really getting into the show. As my general rule I give the show about 5 epsiodes before my final decision, but so far I am not feeling the love. Doesn't help that they have Isaiah Washington on the show now. And that he already talkes about his own spin-oof FTW???
Bones:
Oh yes, here I feel the love! Especially the second episode was awesome with Jack and Angela ("I do facial reconstrucitons. And him" ROFL) and Bones bak in the field with Booth. Oh yes!!
Gossip Girl:
The pilot didnt do it for me but I applied my 5 episode rule and I gotta say it's paying off. The second episode was much better and oh the drama in the third one! Yes, yes I might stay with this one. And if it is only to bitch about the sometimes really interesting outfits those high society drama queens are wearing. And that's supposed to be in? Oh please...
Grey's Anatomy:
The season opener was a dissappoinment but oh my, the second episode was so Grey's again! The drama *le sigh* I loved loved loved it! I like GIzzie, I loved Miranda, Alec was awesome, poor Christina, poor Callie, and oh Derek and Meredith. I love that couple. They so need to get back together. I am convinced the hso looses its mojo once that flame dies. And Sloan was just brilliant! The whole thin with Lexie is cool too. I like and understand her. I do understand Meredith, too though. And I really hope that with getting over herself nad her daddy issues Meredith will allow Lexie in her life and finally settle down with Derek. Pretty please?
Heroes:
Hmm, the pilot was okay and the second episode better. It's not back to full Heroes-feeling but I hope we are getting there. Claire was annoying in this epsode though and her guy is creepy like hell. Mohinder was awesome as usual (his french *flails*) I am really glad they don't seem to be going on witht he memory loss of Peter. He still doesn't remeber but at least the writers had the courtesy to let that bad guy find a box with his stuff. So he knows who he is. I think I like that.
How I Met Your Mother:
Pilot was awesome, and so was the second episode! Robin getting it on with herself ROFL "That chick might be sandy but she knows what I like" Awesome!! especially when she got back to being herself and went for her gun to throw out those weirdos! I love Enrique Iglesias. He has a nice re-occuring role, without drawing ALL the attention to him. Good job!
Life:
That show really is different from your usual police shows. I love the main character and his different approach to things. And his (involuntary) humor! Can't wait to see more of this. I just hope they don't draw out the plot with him finding who fraimed him too long. Like over several seasons. Wouldn't like that too much.
Moonlight:
Mwahahahaha, sorry if there are any fans, bit OMG was this bad!!! So sorry for Jason Dohring, he was fun to watch but everything else sucked so much it was pathetic. Of course I'll apply my 5 episodes rule, but serioulsy? At this point everyone who ever played a vampire has to feel insulted by this show!!!
Private Practice:
Second epsiode way better than the "pilot" or however you wanna call it. The baby switch story was well done, especially the two mothers did a great job. The show works best IMO when all the doctors work together on a case or on cases. Really like that. The house visiting thing is gonna give them more possibilities I hope they use them. Still not convinced about Violet, but I love Sam and Cooper!!! Missed some Dell-time though.
Pushing Dasies:
Ohhhhhh the love, love, love! I jsut adore this pilot. I hope the show can keep up to it. It's so awesome. So cheesy and farytaleish. Never thought I'd love that! But OMG, yes I do!!!
Supernatural:
Fianlly!!! My boys are back! With their hot car and the awesome music!!!! I loved the season opener. After the big finnish of last season I was alittle anxious how they's continue with the story. But they did a great job.
I loved Dean enjoying every second if his last year as much as he can. Having fun with the ladies (of course!) and eating fatty burgers for breakfast ("not bothering with colesterine anymore").
I really liked how Kripke & Co brought in Tamara and her hubby and thus giving us an idea how other hunters see our boys (even if they see thema s bad boys that brought war on all of them).
I liked the mysterious lady with that awesome knife (still Faith's is way better), too. She did a great job, and even better was the way they introduced her. She barely said a word just her presence made a statement of its own. I am curious too see how they are planning on going with her.
I know the show is a horror show and all, but when the 7 sins made Isaa drink teh drainer-whoa that was real horror like we seldomly saw it. Liked the darker image here.
The storyline with the sins and when "Envy" has his little speech especially towards Dean I loved his grin and his reaction. Didn't make him angry as "Envy" intended (well, it worked with Tamara) he just smirked his panty-weting smirk that said: I know and I like me that way! Way to go!
Then of course their was "Pride" and his little speeach to Sam and how they know hima nd how he is no longer under the "protection" (hello???) of the yellow-eyed demon. That was interesting and a turn I didn't see coming. Hope we'll learn more about it soon.
Best of all of course was the end and the brothers conversation, or better fight about how to deal with Dean's deal. I thought Sam would be a little more socked so after learning the condition that he would die right away if they tried to break out of the deal. Everythign else was well done and well acted especially on Jensen Ackles side.
Last words:
Bobby was just awesome "fat and drunk is no way to go through life boy", hope we see more of him this season.
Dean and his SE7En reference no one was getting rocked!! I love that they included the movie, cause everyone was bound to think of it once the seven sins where discovered. Great job!
Puh, big one, thats it fo today.
You know you love me
XOXOXO
