Science Rules!
So this my update about my life, which is pretty uneventful. I don't have much to say other than I got back from Chicago recently. It was a great time! I mean, I always love Chicago and I always enjoy myself even if my parents prefer the beach. It was very low humidity, surely windy, but I could wear winter clothing up there without sweating like I do down here. You'd think I just would dress weather appropriate, but I cannot be reasoned with. Weather be damned, I like my sweaters and scarves.
I haven't been exactly happy as of late because I really have been replaced by my best friend. I know. I probably deserve it and I know it, but it is still painful when I do get a message it is all about how nice this other best friend is and how cute she is and how absolutely perfect this new best friend is. She is a "completely perfect companion" and she lives about an hour away from my friend and I live a good four to five hours away. Yet, even though she sees this girl almost every day, she misses her and not me. I don't know what to do..I'm jealous and that's a bad emotion. Bad road to travel down especially because this is truly happening. I'm not needed and I expected this, but not so fast! It was a week! A week and it all changed! How the hell?!
So, since I'm twenty now, am I allowed to be legitimately sad without the teenager angst reasoning holding up?
Sorry to spam anyone's friend page.
I did not get a lot of pictures during my Chicago visit because I NEVER take my purse with me just because I don't want to lose it. I've lost my purse before, so I just wanted to make sure, through all the cabs and walking, I'd still have all my money, camera, etc. This was at the hotel in Gurnee, IL where my dad gave me these huge Goggles that are up at the beginning of this post. The Lights were terrible, so this is a shaky, dingy picture. Enjoy!
I already really described everything we did before Saturday, so these won't be very detailed at all.
This is the Bean (Cloud Gate). I love this thing! I hadn't seen it the two other times I went to Chicago and I regret that. Even though it is extremely crowded with a bunch of people asking you for money for certain organizations, it's pretty cool for a big, shiny sculpture shaped like a legume.
I've already posted this picture, but my dad was going walking away very fast to get my mom (in order to go to the Art Institute), so I didn't have much time to get a picture of me in the reflective surface of The Bean! So, my short self has a picture. :)
I'm clearly thrilled.
I didn't get anymore pictures of Chicago....hehe. But I bought this Zebra hat at the Navy Pier. At the Navy Pier I went on the Swing ride a few times, which was AMAZING! And had a veggie burger. We never went to the Chicago Diner...sadly.
This is me and an older Sir Thomas Wyatt. I really need to take more pictures of my adult rats. They grew a lot while I was on vacation! They are so big now and they should be getting bigger.
