Just in time for already being home...a travel icon

I'm enjoying my vacation from working. On a related note, I'm sure you're all enjoying your vacation from my work-related bitching. Time off is good for everyone!
So, we made it home ok. Yesterday was a long, long day of travel. Also the time change + new house is still new + Diet Coke = staying up way too late last night. Eventually I just got up and slept in the guest bedroom so I wouldn't wake Rick up, since he actually had to go to work today.
I slept in really late and then took a shower and went to a nice luncheon at my new job. Then came home and screwed around on the internet until I realized that my laptop was still set to California time and it was actually 2 hours later than I thought. Picked up the dog at the kennel, stopped by the old house to get the mail, and then ran downtown to have a lovely dinner at Fong's with drewmg, kelbellene, celtic_catgirl and a few others. Nom nom nom.
Now Rick is trying to finally get the new house t.v. fixed up. Tomorrow I meet the rental inspector at the old house to make sure it is habitable. Mostly I'm just really tired.
