I hate Lending Tree...take 2039
I am begging all of you again, please please do not consider Lending Tree for a home loan. Don't let your friends do it, either. They are EVIL. When banks compete, you win my ass. You know what we won? In addition to financing most of our house with a regular, fixed loan, we also won a $50,000 Home Equity Line of Credit, which is a 15-year balloon loan with a 12.5% interest rate. Which means we "won" paying $500 in interest a month on a 2nd loan--and that doesn't even touch our principal. In addition to our first mortgage payment. And, we will owe the whole balance in 15 years. Thanks, Lending Tree. You really got us some fine offers for 6% loans, that, after we made an offer on our house, you told us we didn't qualify for.
Now, in round 2, we are trying to claim our $1,000 incentive that you said you would give us for using your realtor. You remember him--that realtor I really really hated, and would have fired if not for the incentive. So I sent all of the paperwork to you, within the 30 days, with delivery confirmation from the post office. Only now you're saying you never received it, but if I will just fax it to you again, maybe we'll get a check in 6-8 weeks. You know how I know this is bullshit? Because if you *really* hadn't received it, you would tell us to go fuck ourselves because it's been more than 30 days. Which means that someone on your end screwed up, and you don't want to admit it.
Also, we had a power outage the other day that broke one of our satellite receivers, so I was not able to record *either* Top Model or Lost. I'm trying to download them now, and, in spite of the fact that there are hundreds of seeders, apparently it's going to take me all goddamn day.
Typing cannot express my rage and frustration. Just imagine me as I am about to be--out in my backyard, screaming like a crazy person.
