Fic: "Confession is Good for the Soul" (KITT/Shawn McCormick, KITT/OMC, R for language)
So! I've been working on and off on a KR2000 AU series, which I've been posting on AO3, and at the moment I'm working on the longest story in the set thus far, "Confession is Good for the Soul". It features some (in my opinion) fairly decent scenes of KITT being, well, KITT (in other words: bright, bitchy, acerbic, and endlessly curious about the human condition), as well as the first asexual character I've ever consciously created.
SUMMARY: For over a year, Brad Adair has been keeping a secret. Now that he's facing death he's inclined to share it - but the road to this point has been a convoluted one indeed.
You can likely get into this story without reading the others in the series up to that point, but it would probably be helpful for you to do so. In any case... *bows* Enjoy. :)
