Administrative Type Stuff
Hi everybody and welcome to the new members. Yay! We have new members! Which reminded me that tomywca and I talked a long time ago (that might be time measured in years, I'm not sure) about updating the userinfo for the community to be just a wee bit more formal. We just wanted to spell things out a little more clearly. So if you all wouldn't mind checking out the new userinfo, I'd appreciate it. Beta for me. ;-)
Also, tags. It would help me (or you really since it makes your fic more visible to anyone just trolling the community) if you would tag your posts. I've added a tag for everyone who's joined the community and various general fic descriptors. There are a lot of descriptors that could fit most stories, so please don't go nuts and use all of them, but rather pick a couple that fit the best. One of these days, I do plan to make a cross reference for the community so that people can find fic more easily, but obviously it hasn't happened yet. Since my brain has been eaten by Stargate, it might not happen as soon as it should either. *koff* But you can find the list of tags here. If I spelled anyone's screen name wrong or missed you somehow, let me know.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't mean that you'd all have to go back and tag your old stories (although, if you want to that would be fine, but don't feel like you have to), just new posts or recent posts really. The memories aren't up to date so they aren't exactly easy to find right now. (*kof* I've been a bit of an abscentee comm!mum)
