It's been a while...
So, it's been a while since I've posted. My life is still hectic, but in a lot of ways I've grown to love it. I'm still knitting like a madman and even have a few "secret projects" up my sleeve. In addition, I am starting a Wesley project.
Go-See (Not to be confused with Cosi, which is a resteraunt I hate)
The problem: One of the things we lack as an organization is face time with our members, so we need to find ways to get, not just quantity face-time, but quality of face time.
The Premise: I'm going to be intentional about the way I use my time. I waste a lot of time in my life, so let's take some of that time and use it to reconnect with people we don't see all the time
Method: I'm going on "dates." One on one time, over coffee or a meal with as many people as possible.
Objective: To meet up with as many Wesley kids in as many different cafeterias on campus as humanly possible.
Rules:
1. It's got to be a one on one, group dates don't count.
2. It's got to be intentional, you can't just see them there and count it.
3. By the end of your "date" you must come up with a rating for the venue you visited on a scale of one to ten. Ten being that you're actually going to start living in this cafeteria, one being that they managed to give you the plauge.
4. All rules are subject to change or addendum.
So, if you're a Wesley kid, and you'd like to play "Go-see," then let's make a date. And even if you don't ask for a date, there's a chance that I'll call you up sometime in the next five months, and ask if you'd like to have lunch with me... because I'm just that cool. ;)
