So. What have I done today to justify my existence? What have I done to prove that I am a worthwhile person, and a valuable member of society.
Well... strictly speaking, absolutely nothing at all.
I slept in until 10:00. Then I got up and went online for about 15 minutes. Then I watched TV. Then I had lunch and went online for about 30 minutes. Then I watched TV. Then I went online for 15 minutes. Then watched TV. Now I'm online again.
Overall, a pretty brilliant day. My plan to spend my holidays in the most useless, bludy manner possible has been a complete success so far. I start uni on Monday, and so far this holiday, I have not so much as picked up a book! I feel very much refreshed and ready...
Well... not ready to go back to Uni, really. I'd be quite happy never to set foot on campus ever again, to be perfectly honest. Still, One is halfway through One's degree. This makes me feel better. When I think of it as another year and a half, I feel like crying! Stupid uni!!! Stupid essays!!!
Ahem. This is not the way to prepare for a new semester. At least I've had my lovely bludgish break.
Not that I'm a total loss. I have done some writing, including finishing The Stowemarket Conspiracy.
I've begun work on a new novel. It's the Story about Stories. It needs a better title. Any thoughts? I'm not sure whether or not it's any good. I'm having some trouble with POV and tense. I'm sure once I've worked that out, I'll be more confident with working on it. At least my characters are no longer named after cheeses. No more "Mozarella" and "Gorgonzola".
That's about it, however. Like I said, not the most productive day. I intend to bludge again with TV tomorrow, and I plan to spend my weekend reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I predict someone will die again. Here's hoping it's Percy.
Percy fans: Hey! Bite me!
On Monday, I return to uni, and the following week I start work again. I'll be working Mondays and Wednesdays from now on. Mondays I'll be doing Writing with the continuing students. Wednesdays I'll have new students, and I'll probably alternate Art and Drama. It promises to be somewhat spiffy!
Pip pip, Old Beans!!!
