So, a Goals Update.

All: Why?

Gotta blog about somethin'

Goal 1: Every day on LJ!
Well... your flists speak for themselves, don't they? I have posted every single day (always at it's end) for 27 days. That's nearly a month. I'm looking forward to seeing the entire month of July full up with links, in that calendar sidebar.

Goal 2: Parcel-a-Week
Best hobby EVER! I'm loving the parcel sending SO much. I have a parcel in my bag, ready to be posted tomorrow, and I've organised my mailing list with the next several parcel-winners.
I think I've heard from everyone who's had a package so far, and everyone has been so happy, just to get the surprise. Doesn't matter what you put in a package, everyone is just so thrilled to receive a surprise. buneater is warm in her scarf, linnet_101 has already written a review of one of her new trashy romance novels, charliemc is proud mother of a genuine Australian wombat, today I got a card and a series of photos from rilla06, celebrating the random box of random. drscruffy is also the proud owner of a scarf and a toy for the plus one to come.

I've developed a parcel system. I mail someone within a good period before their birthday. If there's no one to sned a birthday parcel too, I pick someone whose birthday is at least six months away, so that the parcels are distributed evenly. It's so much fun to decide who gets the parcel and then go shopping and find things I can send. They practically know me by sight in the post office!!!

Remember, I'm always happy to have more people for the Great Mailing List, so do email me if you'd like to be on the receiving end of Parcel Mania.

Goal 3: 50 Pages in 50 days
Well... I'm not so far behind I'll never catch up, but I am a few pages behind tonight. I'm likely to make it all up in one hit, I think, rather than do an actual page every day.

Goal 4: Walk the dog
Hmmm... this doesn't happen every week, but it does happen. The little guy is just so happy to be out! He gets a big grin on his face! And small children see us and go "Look! A puppy dog!" Nyawww...

Goal 5: The Nursing Thing
Today I went to the local nursing home and picked up some forms to fill in as a volunteer. The lady said that if they take me, I might be helping with food or activities, or even just having a chat with residents. That sounds nice! It's an opportunity to meet nurses, too, and talk to them about the job.

All in all, I think I'm doing well.

Regarding the weird feelings in my brain, I have to get that test where they attach little things to your head and measure your brain activity. Cool!
