One for the records
Well, I managed to throw my left shoulder out of socket last night... hanging curtains... because I was standing on my very unstable desk chair. A just punishment for such stupidity. I was able to rotate it back in after I finished falling off the chair. Luckily, I landed on my bed, so my shoulder's the only stupidity award I got. (Ow ow ow!)
But, hey! the curtains that Bonnie made me for my birthday are awesome. They're semi-sheer aqua blue to match my multi-color bed sheets. My room has this lovely underwater look to it when the sun shines through them. I already love waking up to the soft blue light.
Another note: wrapping an Ace bandage around your own shoulder is very difficult. I got one from Walgreens, but I can't figure out how I'm supposed to wear a shirt with this wrap on tomorrow for work. Right now I'm sporting the super-sexy combo of scrubs, a bra, and an Ace bandage. Hey, at least my bra matches the bandage!
There's an awesome lightening storm outside. I think I'll turn off the lights and listen to the rain and thunder for a bit.
