I am now the proud semi-owner of a 2002 Saturn VUE!!!
I say Semi-Owner cause I haven't signed on the loan paperwork so it's not exactly mine yet, but I gave Bill my down payment and he let me take it home. I sign on Monday. I called the insurance company and switched out the cars. My new premium is $578.00 for 6 months, so a little less than $100/month ($96.33)...not a problem at all! My old premium was $246/six months, but that was a much smaller, older car.
But I have it!! I can drive it!! It has the follow amenities:
-power steering
-power locks
-power windows (with automatic, one-touch driver's window down button thing)
-CD player
-Freezing cold A/C
-Sunroof
-back windows that roll all the way down
-remote keyless entry
-automatic locks that lock when you put it in gear
-4-cylinder engine with 5 speed manual transaxle (yes, I love my stick shifts!!)
-tinted windows
-3 'cigarette lighter' power sockets: one in the front, one in the back seat, and one in the cargo area
-compass and temperature readout on rearview mirror
-back seats that fold almost flat
-passenger's seat folds completely flat
-driver's seat height adjustment
and the most important thing of all that I missed out on for 3 and a half years with my other car....
-cup holders...4 to be exact
In sadder news, it was a bit heart wrenching to see the people drive Jean Pierre away (aka my old car). That car and I have been through a lot together. I will always think fondly of you, Jean Pierre, my love. Be well in your next life.
Now, to name the new car...
point of vue,
some freakin good news,
