Yes, it looks like it's time for a new car...well, another car.
Mine wouldn't start yesterday morning, so I've been driving mom's car to and from work for the last couple of days.
My parents had my car towed to my dad's mechanic (who he doesn't really like) and he said I need a new fuel pump and ignition system or something like that. Bill, MY mechanic, said he had no idea what an ignition system was, so I'm thinking my dad told me the wrong thing.
Anyway, it would cost like $800 for the other mechanic to fix it, so rather than letting him fix it, or even letting Bill fix it, I'm just throwing in the towel and buying that green 1996 Saturn he has that I love...or maybe the red 2003 VUE...but maybe not. I have to take out a loan for this. I'm not happy about that.
It's not that I can't afford it...cause I can...I just don't want to, especially with the "I'm trying to save money to move out" thing I've got going on.
Anyway, I'll probably have a new car by the end of the weekend, I just don't know what kind, so I'll keep everyone posted.
