And now it's time for...
More Good Things That Happened To The Julie!
1) I was checking the mail today and thought, "It'd sure be nice if some of my Christmas Money checks from the family started rolling in." Right then, I saw an envelope addressed to me from my grandparents. I got home and opened it to find a check for, not just the usual $25, but $50! Plus, a nice little note congratulating me on finishing school and getting a job and whatnot. Unfortunately, the check is post-dated until December 24th, but at least I know I have 50 extra dollars somewhere.
2) I saw on my time-card today that so far, I've racked up over 5 hours of over time due to the fact that I come in at 7:45 and we don't open until 8, then I sometimes have to stay late, and we had a staff meeting during lunch that we're paid for. Somehow that's added up to 5 and a half hours of time-and-a-half, which is about $100 before taxes.
3) I get the paycheck with all those hours on it on friday, plus we have our christmas party, so we all get off work at 1pm!
Also, today is Molly's birthday. She's 2. Happy Birthday to Molly.
