Well kids,
I told my folks about the accident. They weren't nearly as upset as I thought they were going to be. Not to say they were happy, but at least I didn't get yelled at. I just got scolded a little and told that I should have said something sooner since I was making a claim on his insurance.
Not that I'm ungrateful, but it's my insurance, too; this affects all of us and I don't recall finding out right away when he fell asleep behind the wheel and hit some lady on the freeway. (No, I'm not talking about my mom, though that did happen. This was after that.)
Anyway, it's all out in the open and I'm glad for that!
Now it's off to jury duty!
