Home again
I have made my way back home. Zara's 'mommy,' Leah, gave me an extra $20. Why? I don't know. Maybe because I had to clean up cat-vomit. Maybe because she likes me. Maybe because she can't multiply 15 by 7. Either way, it's all good. I got home at 1:30 this morning, went to bed, and got back up at 6 for school. I'm already mourning the loss of my pseudo-freedom, or as I referred to it with Sara, the grown-up version of 'playing house.' Nobody at Zara's house would walk down the hall, past my bedroom door, and fart...then do it again on the way back. Iwouldn't even do that while I was there. My parents, on the other hand, don't find anything wrong with passing gas in my hallway while I'm eating lunch.
Saturday was Agnieszka's pirate themed going away party and as part of the festivities, we all went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I've heard mixed reviews about it from people, but I have to say, it was very nicely done with an excellent cliffhanger at the end. Truly, a classic 'to be continued' moment. I can't wait for the third one! If you go see it, stay until after the ending credits. It's not important, just cute.
Also at the party was Courtney, aka 'Tom Riddle's mommy.' (The cat Tom Riddle, not Lord Voldemort.) She and her sister are going to Japan next week, so I will be cat-sitting Riddle from July 18th-25th. I have another job with Zara in mid-August and again in September. This is exciting stuff for me!
And I got more students. Hooray for money!
