Lemme just say...
This has been the best birthday EVER.
EVER!
My party on Sunday night was GREAT. I got my iHome, Season 1 of Coupling (a Sex-and-the-City-Friends-like conglomeration from the BBC), Season 1 of Sex and the City, Erika let me borrow Serenity, a $25 gift card for Border's Books,
and $25 checks from Gramma & Grampa Silva and Lebovic and Aunt Myra.
Monday was pretty good. No tests...just sorta..slept through school.
On my actual birthday, Tuesday, I had a test, then left school early so I could rest up and get ready to look fabulous for my night out with Ranjana. We went to Mia Bella Tratorria where I was NOT carded for my glass of Cabernet! But the food was amazing (though our waiter left something to be desired).
Then it was on to the Sake Lounge for cocktails before going to the movies. The bartender stared at my ID as though trying to figure out what day it was. I kindly informed her that it was my birthday that day and she gave me a free drink. My free drink was something called a Happy Birthday. I don't quite know what was in it, but there WAS lime in it...and I'm not a fan of lime. Lime makes my stomach hurt.
Anyway, afterwards, we went to the Angelika to see Thank You for Smoking (fantastic movie!). Then back home.
Mark's gift hasn't arrived yet, but that's ok. It'll just make my birthday last longer! He was online Monday night at 7:30 (Tuesday morning, 1:30, his time, so it was already the 25th) and wished me a happy birthday....such a great kid :-D
Today, dad took me out for a post-birthday, father-daughter dinner...I'm still stuffed.
And clinicals are all over!
And it's cool outside!
