Update on All of This Stuff!!
Hey everyone, look!! The Josscars aren't dead. I swear!!
Here is the thing, after a lot of changes and baggage and drama and all that stuff I thought about just ending the awards over here, hence the big lack of anything on this end. However I just can't let go.
Even though the categories that I posted for Small and Large Scale games got practically no nominations, I am sticking with it.
Being that it is getting to be the end of the year and the one thing we were good at was doing massive amounts of awards all at once here is what I am doing.
+ I did a quick rush job on the banners for small/large scale RPG games banners they will be getting uploaded soon.
+ I will be opening up a new round of Peer to Peer awards that will run to the end of the year.
Here is how it is going.
All year long games have come and gone, and some of them die with some great writing in them that never get recognized. So in an effort to help recognize your peers here is what I am proposing.
This may or may not work, and personally I don't care if it does or not, but I know there are writers that need recognition for their work, so this is the way to do it.
No Voting.
No Competing.
Just Giving Recognition to those that YOU feel deserve it.
I will be dividing it up into categories so that I don't get flooded with Banners to make.
Basically each person can nominate ONE thread from Every Character in the Verse.
So if you know of a Willow post that just stands out from the year and you want to nominate that post from that Willow then slap up the nomination for your Willow Choice. Do the same for every character in the verse that you feel deserves recognition.
This is going to be a lot of work for you to gather, but it will hopefully be a nice gesture to our fellow roleplayers.
So everyone will nominate their Faith choice, their Willow choice, their Giles choice, all of them.
The first category is going to be Buffy Females. Rather than worry about a seperate post with nominations, I am just going to open them up in here. In a few weeks I will open up Angel Females, and then Buffy Males, and then Buffy Females, then OC Characters will have to be figured out to a few seperate categories. I will try to make the banners as they come in, and will post them ALL in at the end of the year, so nominations will run for a while, to give everyone time to nominate.
Because if it doesn't work then it doesn't work, I can't force people to nominate their peers.
