Oh... to the frustrated masses... let me mend your wounds... or not.

Okay folks, so I made the changes last night, and I am sticking with them.. however here are a few concerns that have popped up overnight...

- The four character category thing: Yes it does seem pretty limited, however every community will have up to 3 nominations to make per category. Now when I say EVERY community I mean EVERY community. So take ( Read more... )

Your minds are changed like your underwear. This is ridiculous!

You post stuff in here that I posted in an ooc, the main reason I posted that was to PIMP your community out because I believed that this community was a good idea.

But now you’re off telling people they only opened an awards community despite you.

That’s not cool; by the way I bet a lot of people believe it is childish. Also back to the OOC that was another childish move on you part as mod’s.

Like the rest have said you are making this way to difficult for people to keep up with, I will not be surprised when they don’t even bother with it any more.

I do understand wanting to end the popularity contests, that’s not going to happen. I have RP’ed with certain people for awhile now and know the way they write and portray their character, so if I only voted for them because they are my friend I will still be able to.

You have to be able to have one way of voting and stick to it otherwise you will loose all your members. Lots have already commented. So please end the chili dish games, and the ranting about other communities because you want to be the best.

These are supposed to be for fun, not a contest between award communities.

I have personally never said anything in my awards community, or taken anything from an ooc to get a point across it is childish and ridiculous.

That end’s my rant.

Have a wonderful day!

First of all, please see my above comment to see if it helps.

Secondly, I do appreciate your concerns.

Finally, if it comes down to the fact that you still don't like how we do things here, please leave and there will be no hard feelings. It really sucks when you're trying to do something new and creative and all you get is a bunch of trash talking from people because of ONE thing one of the mods said in the post about the changes.

it isn't as much what was said as it was how many changes have been made. Like someone said above you change your rules like you change your underwear. I have never seen someone change their rules as much as you all have. I mod several comms and I know who I think is good and who I think isn't quite the character. I am not quiet about my feelings, when I vote I vote based on that. Simple as that. You all cant guarantee that everyone is like me so give it up. Just let people nomm who they believe is good and vote for who they believe is good. Don't make it so constrained that no one wants to participate anymore. Thats all we are saying.

Once again I agree with you.!. Well, agreeing with you is agreeing with me.

But anyways, they need to have a firm set of rules.

They need to stop acting so childish about everything. Yes they want to be diffrent, but in the end it all boils donw to the samething.

I think your missing the fact that not everyone is saying what your saying. If you really have all those issues then leave, no ones forcing you to stick around

What your not getting is that fill_rileyfinn, cordy_love, wiccan_willow and I make more than one person so when I say we agree I mean We agree. I don't care what you think. I know how I feel and thats what matters. I feel that this is all petty childishness and pointless arguing. But who knows I might just be causing more Drama than the comm needs

You have the right to feel what you feel, i'm certainly not denying you that. But come on, what's more childish ... trying to make something work or attacking someone's usericon?

Yeah. They are being childish

it is far more than the user icon and you know it. Its how they name other comms in their posts without actually naming them. It is how they misunderstand what one person put in an OOC as apimp for the comm and they consider removing their votes its how they attack members for stating their opinions. If you could see that maybe you would see what some people are feeling

Very few others seem to agree with you. And if a ton do, by all means, excuse me.

But I think your sitting there attacking them for reasons way beyond not liking what they are doing, and it's just stupid.

The first few points you had were valid and now it's getting ridiculous, and I'm done.

You will find that more people agree with me. They just as someone pointed out to me tonight "don't have the balls" to say it themselves. I however have nothing to lose here. I am not ever going to win anything here and honestly I don't care. I know I won't win here because they change the policies more often than they change their underwear. So therefore I am the one who will voice my opinion. I am sorry that some cant handle it.

See this is me, voicing my opinion in disagreement with you. It's not anyone not handling it.

I'm glad you feel your sticking up for people who can't do it for themselves. By all means, continue.

but if you dislike this place and just want to continue name-calling and everything why don't you just leave? Seriously, it's a nifty solution that i'm sure works for everyone.

Okay, first of all this is the second.... I repeat SECOND time things have changed here. Sure it is coming in close behind the first change, but I am sticking by it.

Oh, and I change my underwear everyday... but I digress...

Secondly yes we posted the post from the OOC, however we never named names, nor did we end up discounting your votes. We simply wanted to let people know that we were aware of thing like that and that we were trying to avoid that. It would have been childish if we had said, where the post came from, or who posted it. We were just siting an example, and believe me there were more, but we went with the first one we found.

Also I have not been "telling off" people that have started award communities. I made a comment in an earlier post regarding someone's choices and I still stand by my comment. My rules have been taken and without credit. That upset me more than anything. However upset I might have been I have not made a post demanding they take them down, nor have I made any negative posts regarding other award communities. If they work then fine let them stay. If they get members and voters and winners? Well then someone must like them, and that is fine by me.

Also if I count the number of people that have commented in poor response to this I get.... 4 people. You know what? I am willing to risk the four.

And I will have a wonderful day... despite the foot of snow outside, and the negativity I am trying to battle in here.
