Update!

Well, I am glad to see that so many of you are still in support of our community despite changes that we made. It was a difficult choice, however we did have to make it in order to keep things as fair and equal across the board. It took us almost a month to come up with this system and we are very proud of it.

Currently you can VOTE in the poll that is open now.

You can also review the changes we made to the community. The User info is in the process of getting changed to reflect the new set of rules.

Currently we have 40 votes out of a registered 70 voters (We have dicounted multiple character journals from the community members list that is why the voters number is lower than the community members list). Please note that if you want your vote to count we need the journal that you voted with to be a member of this community.

Also in the process of determining players and validity of voting we sometimes follow this method. We go to the user journal that you voted with, from there we see the games that character is a member of, then we browse the ooc, because generally people post their contact info in there, or a comment saying which characters are theirs. However with 5 of us, we pretty much have most of you already pinned down. However I did run across a post in an OOC community that contained this:

the_josscars

This is a community we should all get involved in, Nominate eachother and then vote for eachother.!.

I am still trying to figure out if I should discount their votes or not. This is something that as moderators we frown upon. In all of our efforts to make this as fair as possible, please realize that we do not want this to be a popularity contest. This sort of post is also one of the main reasons we switched our methods over.

Okay, so lets sweep this all under the rug!! ::sweep sweep:: All better!!

You still have until December 29th, 2004 to get your votes in!!!
