UGHHHH!!!!!! >:| Can't say that loud enough. I don't know what I've gotten myself into!! Sunday, the mother of one of Zeke (the kid I'm keeping 45 hours a week)'s friends calls and says, "I've got to work half a day M-Thurs this week, would you mind letting Oliver and Emery come over and play with Zeke and you keep them? I'll pay you on top of what Karen is already paying you." and of course, I'm like HECK YES. I figure Zeke and Oliver (same age, in the same class) can entertain themselves, which would be much easier on me, since they're both pretty rowdy, and the little 3-year-old ANGEL CHILD, Emery, and I can just kinda hang out and take it easy. As always, the situation is not quite how I had envisioned it...
I AM GOING TO HAVE TO SHOOT MYSELF BEFORE THE WEEK IS OVER!!! Oliver and Zeke haven't done a good job of entertaining themselves; in fact, I've just had to keep them from killing each other and absolutely destroying Karen's house, and Emery is harder to keep than I thought since she is determined that I am a jungle-gym... Those boys are so wild and I have had it!! Oliver just DOESN'T mind anyone. He does what he wants to do regardless of how much trouble he gets in. Zeke can be kinda wild sometimes, but at least he's a really good kid and has a conscience. Oliver = no conscience. Besides that, Kelley (O & E's mom) didn't come back till 3:00 yesterday! She told me she'd be back somewhere around 12, but that she might be running a little late since it's the first day of whatever it is she's doing. "A little late" quickly turned into 3 hours late... no phone call.... no apology... it was a ROUGH day. Today they were even wilder; luckily for me, she returned at 1:00. I hope I'm not going to have to get mad tomorrow. We're all going to Chuckie Cheese's around 11:00, and originally she was supposed to meet us there to pick up her kids, but as of today, "[she] and a girlfriend are going to go open up the checking account for the business after [they] get done tomorrow, so don't worry about trying to meet [her] there; [she'll] just catch up with us later." AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! I'm probably lookin' at another 2:00 or 3:00 day tomorrow, and if that happens, I'm going to be so mad! Karen's mad too, because it seems that Kelley is pretty much taking advantage of both of us. 2 more days..... (sigh).
Sorry, had to rant and rave a little. I think some Starbuck's Chai would make me feel better. I'm going to Starbuck's.
