Hey lush, Have fun, Its the weekend
It the weekend! I am so ready for school to be over, but ive still got a while (and i get out earlier than the rest of my school b/c of the exchange trip).
Last night was a lot of fun. BJ and her friend Gail picked me up and we drove to Cary town, where i bought the new Fall Out Boy cd (it was used, and came out less then a week ago!), and i met my friend Andrew there. He and i went to Alley Katz to see a show there and BJ and Gail met us after they ate dinner. We had to be on time because he had to videotape one of the bands b/c hes in some sort of a computer class with them and theyre making a video. The show was good, it was some local bands and some from NC and maybe DC. My favourite was The Mile After, Id listened to them on purevolume.com before i went to the show, so all the songs that they played. Andrew went with me to get a shirt and after i narrowed it down to 2 of The Mile After shirts, he said hed get one and id get the other and we could trade. I got them to sign mine after the show, so im not sure id want to trade anymore, but i like his too (mine says "the mile after" really big, then "fighting or lovingthey are the" then "champions" in the big font and has a guy and girl on it and his has the name and whats supposed to be a rocket and reads "we invented jetpacks") . When we bought them, we got adult smalls and the merch guy was like "we have kids large too" and i made fun of how they wanted to sell us small shirts, like what half of the other guys and girls at the show (cough, total scenesters) were wearing. Well, we ended up trading our for childrens larges (which is tight on him, but at least doesnt show midriff), which i thoght was funny after making fun of the guy who offered them to us (the smalls were a bit big). We saw this local band called Forever In A Day that ive heard lots of kids name drop ("scene points", maybe?), they were good, really energetic. We also saw 2 about 13 year old girls making out, that was interesting. One tried to look like a guy, but as i said "it has boobs" and bj said "the butt is too big to be a skinny guy" cause she was skinny, but certain features are obviously girly. BJ and gail came over afterwards, but they hung out with taylor cause i had to sleep cause my dad wanted me to go to swimmign in the morning.
My grandmother is in town b/c my mom isnt and mom didnt know that taylor would be home when shes on her trip (my dad travels alot and i cant drive by myself). I love her, but she is quite time consuming and gets confused about stuff etc. At least ive got taylor to help me. The worst is that we'll have our bweach house next weekend and she wants to go, but taylor and i REALLY want to go to an annual local radio station "birthday bash", Fallout boy, hawthorne heights, the presidents of the USA, a static lullaby, sum 41, and underoath will be playing. Hopefully she and dad can go and we can stay here, but my dad isnt too keen on that idea.
I have no plans for the rest of the weekend except to spend time with my family, swim, and do school work. Ill have to cook tonight too, my granma is making tacos but has never made them and will probably need my help, and ill have to cook my no meat "ground beef" so i can eat tacos too. I have an AP US test on monday, even though weve taken the AP. My friends and i have recently realized, that for several reasons, that teacher is a jerk.
