[He takes a sip of his gin and tonic, swirls the ice in the glass, and sets it down. Looking squarely into the camera, he clasps his hands and leans forward just slightly.]
I'd like an update of the last month on Bela's activity. Or any activity. Little vignettes of recent floods -- was I gone long enough to miss a port? -- the last thing I remember is being tripped by an asthmatic gentleman's tongue, and then enveloped in smoke. I know how it sounds, but I didn't see Hugh Heffner at all, so I'm only left to conclude that this place is to blame.
