feline mission
So, it's time for a new cat. riktiktavi and I filled out an online adoption form from the Arizona Recue for animals. I love that they ask in-depth, thorough questions of potential pet owners. I'm happy to go through the process to make sure we get the right cat. Our Eleanor needs a young adult male cat to bond with, play with, and nurture since she won't let us near her and the other two cats can't stand her. (She desperately tries to leave the house now that PJ isn't here to be with her.) I also need a cat who is human-loving but can play independently. I realized that my list of "needs" of what *I* want is quite long, and that is a good thing. I want the right pet for our house. We found a pet online at the RESCUE site which seems to perfectly (no pun intended) fit out needs.
riktiktavi" and I are also seriously talking about a dog for her later this spring.
We're going to get through the cat adjustment first.
Still celebrating my birthday .. everyone is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night. J made a cake, and I think there still might be prezzies involved! I really scored on this bday!
