It probably would have been a weird thing for most people-- knowing so little about someone you cared for so much-- but as far as Chuck was concerned, he was okay with it. Sure, it would have been nice to know the little things, like when Sarah's birthday was, but when it came down to it, it wasn't all that important. When someone's birthday was or what city they'd grown up in didn't matter. Who Sarah was now mattered more than anything else.
It had been over a year ago that Chuck had sat just outside of her hut after realizing she'd disappeared, and exactly a year ago that she'd shown up again. So today, Chuck found himself standing outside of her hut with a small package in his hands. He didn't know when Sarah's birthday was, after all, and now seemed as good a day as any to celebrate it.
