Chuck was in his hut, flipping through a Japanese phrasebook he'd gotten off of the bookshelf when he thought he heard Ellie and Awesome come back. He hadn't really been waiting for their return, but it'd been a week, and he wanted to see how everything had gone.
Not that he wanted any of the details, because the last thing he ever wanted to hear about was Awesome and his sister doing....well...it. Gross.
After taking a minute or two to scrub the image out of his head, Chuck put a bookmark in his book and headed to Ellie and Awesome's hut.
"Hey, anybody in there?" he asked, knocking on the door.
And maybe Chuck also had a few things to catch Ellie up on, but he totally wasn't going to make a big deal about it.
...at least not at first.
